Booking and Services Terms

These Terms & Conditions explain how Mindfulness Power provides mindfulness, resilience, and wellbeing services. By booking a session or using this website, you agree to these Terms. Mindfulness Power is a trading name of Simon Chan, a sole trader based in London, UK.

Our Services

  • Individual sessions: One-to-one coaching and  programmes delivered online via Zoom
  • Community mindfulness sessions delivered online or in person
  • Corporate mindfulness and resilience sessions delivered online or in person

Additional terms may apply to corporate bookings, including scheduling, pricing, and delivery arrangements. These will be confirmed at the time of booking or in the service agreement.

Booking & Payment

  • One-to-one, community, and charity sessions: Booking is confirmed once payment is received, unless otherwise agreed. Payment is made via bank transfer in GBP.

  • Online private group sessions: Booking is confirmed once payment is received via Eventbrite in GBP. You will receive an email confirmation from Eventbrite once your booking is complete.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • Individual sessions: Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the session (or first session of a programme) will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable, but may be transferred to another session at our discretion and subject to availability. Once a programme has started, no refunds are issued for remaining sessions.
  • Community programmes: Cancellations made more than 7 days before the start date will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 7 days are non-refundable, but an alternative date may be offered where possible.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a session if necessary. In such cases, clients will be offered an alternative date or a full refund for any undelivered sessions.

  • We are not responsible for cancellations or delays caused by events outside our control, including illness, technical issues, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Online Sessions

  • Participants are responsible for ensuring they have a suitable device, internet connection, and private space for online sessions. We are not responsible for technical issues outside our control. Sessions may not be recorded without prior permission.

Wellbeing & Safety

  • Participation in all sessions is entirely voluntary.
  • Sessions are designed to support general wellbeing and stress management and are not a substitute for medical, psychological, or therapeutic treatment.
  • Participants may take part only in a way that feels appropriate for them and may pause or withdraw at any time.
  • For group bookings, the organiser should ensure participants are aware of the nature of the sessions.
  • If any participant has concerns about their suitability to take part, they should use their own judgment or seek appropriate advice.
  • We hold appropriate professional indemnity and public liability insurance for the services we provide.

Participant Age Requirement

  • All classes and sessions are intended for adults aged 18 and over. By booking, participants confirm that they meet this age requirement.

Materials & Conduct

  • All session materials, recordings, and resources are provided for personal use only and remain the property of Mindfulness Power. They must not be shared, copied, posted online, or used for commercial purposes without permission.
  • We reserve the right to withdraw access to digital resources at any time. Participants are expected to behave respectfully.

Programme Changes

  • .Our courses and programmes are continuously refined to reflect new insights, participant feedback, and best practices. As such, content, structure, and duration may be updated or adjusted over time. Any significant changes to scheduled sessions will be communicated to participants in advance.

Privacy & Accessibility

  • We respect your privacy and personal data. By booking, you consent to how we handle your information in line with our Privacy Policy.
  • Please let us know in advance if you have any accessibility needs or anything that may help you participate comfortably in a session (online or in person).

Liability

  • We take reasonable care to provide a safe and supportive service. Participation in sessions is voluntary and at your own discretion. We are not responsible for any loss or injury arising from participation, except where required by law.

Data Protection & GDPR

  • Personal data is collected to administer bookings, communicate with clients, and deliver services.
  • Data may be shared with third-party service providers (e.g., Zoom, payment processors) as necessary.
  • Clients have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of their personal data (see our Privacy Policy).

Updates to Terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time.
  • The version published here at the time of booking applies.

Acceptance & Law

  • By booking a session or series of sessions, or by using this website, you confirm you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
  • These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, with disputes subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
